Geographic Premium. 1. If the Company determines that any or all of its rates of pay in Article 4 (Compensation), at any station, base, location or classification, are non-competitive with local market rates for similarly situated jobs, the Company may implement a Geographic Premium.

Geographic Premium. The Company may offer a geographic premium for either Mechanic/Avionic Technician/PAGE or Cleaners at any individual maintenance base. The amount of the premium, if any, may be adjusted from time to time and is at the discretion of the Company. Note: All pay rate changes in this Agreement will take effect on the first day of the following pay period after DOR.
Geographic Premium. In addition to rates of pay and premiums set forth above, employees working in high cost of living cities will receive a geographic premium as outlined in the Table below. Cities eligible for premiums will be determined using the ACCRA Cost of Living Index – 2007 Annual Average Data published by the Council for Community and Economic Research. Employees working in cities that receive ratings below the national average of 100.0 will receive no geographic premium. Employees working in cities that receive an rating between 100.0 and 109.9 will receive a geographic premium of $0.25 per hour; employees working in cities that receive an rating of 110.0 through 119.9 will receive a geographic premium of $0.50 per hour; employees working in cities that receive an rating of 120.0 through 129.9 will receive a geographic premium of $0.75 per hour; employees working in cities that receive an rating of 130.0 through 139.9 will receive a geographic premium of $1.00 per hour; and employees working in cities that receive an rating of 140.0 or above will receive a geographic premium of $1.25 per hour.   • First Aid Premium First Aid Premiums shall apply when an employee is assigned by the Employer to be a First Aid Attendant on a job site and shall be paid as follows: Level II - $1.00 per hour. Level III - $2.00 per hour.

  • Bilingual Premium The appointing authority may require a qualified employee to perform bilingual duties in positions which have been identified and designated as requiring such bilingual skills. In order to ensure an adequate level of bilingual proficiency, the Director, Department of Human Resources may require periodic evaluation of incumbents receiving bilingual premium.

  • Shift and Weekend Premium (a) Effective July 1, 2019, an employee shall be paid a shift premium of ninety cents (90¢) per hour for each hour worked between the hours of 1500 hours and 0700 hours. Effective July 1, 2020, an employee shall be paid a shift premium of ninety-five cents (95¢) per hour for each hour worked between the hours of hours of 1500 hours and 0700 hours.

  • Weekend Premium Effective July 1, 2020, an employee shall be paid a weekend premium of one dollar and ten cents ($1.10) per hour for each hour worked between 2300 hours Friday and 2300 hours Sunday, or such other forty-eight (48) hour period as the local parties may agree upon or as defined in the Collective Agreement. If an employee is receiving premium pay pursuant to a local scheduling regulation with respect to consecutive weekends worked, the employee will not receive weekend premium under this provision.

  • Training Premium Qualified Operators selected by the Employer to train new Operators shall be paid a training premium of 40¢ per hour while engaged in training work.

  • Holiday Premium If an employee works one of the following holidays, they will receive time and one half for all hours worked on that holiday: New Year’s Day, Xxxxxx Xxxxxx Xxxx Xx. Day, President’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving, the Day after Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

  • PREVAILING WAGE RATES - PUBLIC WORKS AND BUILDING SERVICES CONTRACTS If any portion of work being Bid is subject to the prevailing wage rate provisions of the Labor Law, the following shall apply:

  • Sunday Premium All hours worked by an Employee on Sunday, shall be paid for on the basis of one and one-half (1½) times the Employee’s Regular Rate of Pay. For the purpose of this Section, Sunday shall be deemed to be the twenty-four (24) hours beginning with the shift change hour nearest to 12:01 a.m.

  • Bus Drivers For overtime worked on normal working days or on days of rest, bus drivers shall be paid as follows:

  • Overtime Premium (a) Employees shall be entitled to payment of time and one-half (1-1/2X) the employee's basic straight time hourly rate for all authorized overtime work in excess of seven and one-half (7-1/2) hours in a tour of duty or in excess of the average full-time hours of work over the period scheduled by the Hospital. Such period for this purpose shall not exceed two (2) weeks. It is understood that no overtime will be paid where the time worked was a result of an exchange at shifts between employees. Overtime shall be distributed as equally as practical among those employees normally performing the type of work to be done on overtime. Notice of overtime work shall be given as soon as practically possible. It is understood and acknowledged that the Hospital has the right to require employees to perform reasonably authorized overtime work. Call-back shall not be considered as hours worked for purposes of this Article. Overtime premium will not be duplicated nor pyramided nor shall other premiums be duplicated nor pyramided nor shall the same hours worked be counted as part of the normal work week and also as hours for which the overtime premium is paid. Where an employee is required to work additional overtime contiguous to an overtime shift within a twenty-four (24) hour period, the employee will be compensated at the rate of double time his or her straight time hourly rate for all additional contiguous overtime hours worked.
