Common use of Funeral Leave Clause in Contracts

Funeral Leave. A. In the case of death of the mother, father, stepmother, stepfather, brother, sister, husband, wife, child, stepchild, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandparent, grandchild, or in the case of death of any other relative residing in the immediate household of a regular employee, the employee shall be allowed four (4) days funeral leave with regular pay without deduction from his pay or accumulated sick leave to attend the funeral or memorial service.
