Foundation Walls Clause Examples for Any Agreement

The Foundation Walls clause defines the requirements and standards for constructing the foundational walls of a building. It typically specifies the materials to be used, such as concrete or masonry, and outlines the necessary dimensions, reinforcement, and waterproofing measures to ensure structural integrity. By setting clear expectations for the construction and quality of foundation walls, this clause helps prevent structural failures and disputes over workmanship, ensuring the building's stability and longevity.

Slight “honeycombing,” cold joints, or imperfections in the foundations walls caused by variations or minor flaws in concrete forms will not be repaired. Slight dampness may be experienced in a crawl space. However, correctly installed landscaping will prevent excessive amounts of water from entering crawl spaces.
