Forensic Scientist Positions. The classification titles for forensic scientist are Forensic Scientist I, Forensic Scientist II, and Forensic Scientist III. Employees in the title Forensic Scientist I are trainees. Employees in the title Forensic Scientist II and Forensic Scientist III are professional forensic scientists who have achieved certification and are recognized as being qualified by their Forensic Discipline. Employees in the title Forensic Scientist I who achieve certification shall automatically progress to Forensic Scientist II. In its sole discretion, the Employer may release any Forensic Scientist who has failed to achieve certification within three opportunities to attempt to attain certification. Because Forensic Scientists are required to testify in a court of law, effective the first pay period in March every year, the Employer will reimburse each Forensic Scientist up to $125. per year for membership in one related professional organization as approved by the Employer.

Forensic Scientist Positions. Effective January 1, 2001 the classification titles Forensic Scientist I and Forensic Scientist II shall be merged into a single classification. The resulting classification title shall be Forensic Scientist. The wage schedule shall be a seven-step schedule. The first three steps, Steps 1, 2, and 3, shall be reserved for Forensic Scientists who have not achieved the required expertise to allow them to operate independently. The last four steps, Steps 4, 5, 6, and 7 shall be reserved for Forensic Scientists who have achieved certification or are recognized as being qualified by their Forensic Discipline. Certified Forensic Scientists who have achieved certification shall have a beginning wage of Step 4, unless otherwise authorized by the City Council. Forensic Scientists who have not achieved certification shall not progress beyond Step 3 until they have achieved certification. In its sole discretion, the Employer may release any Forensic Scientist who has failed to achieve certification within three attempts after becoming eligible to attempt to attain certification.

  • Manufacturing and Marketing Rights The Company has not granted rights to manufacture, produce, assemble, license, market, or sell its products to any other person and is not bound by any agreement that affects the Company's exclusive right to develop, manufacture, assemble, distribute, market, or sell its products.

  • DEVELOPMENT OR ASSISTANCE IN DEVELOPMENT OF SPECIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS/ STATEMENTS OF WORK Firms and/or individuals that assisted in the development or drafting of the specifications, requirements, statements of work, or solicitation documents contained herein are excluded from competing for this solicitation.
