Fine Tuning. Any changes in the alignment of the project area will require the prior written approval of the AO. The AO reserves the discretionary authority to require a re- determination of the State's best interest for any significant proposed changes.
Fine Tuning. Functional Commissioning is the responsibility of Design Build Entity after Judicial Council Beneficial Use and after the issuance of the Certificate of Acceptance and ending one year after either. During this time, Design Build Entity is responsible for optimizing systems and correcting deficiencies arising under normal operating conditions. During this period, Design Build Entity will collaborate and assist Judicial Council’s Commissioning Agent in the correction of any deficiencies found as a result of seasonal commissioning efforts completed by the Commissioning Agent. Fine tuning includes a period after occupancy where systems are optimized under “live” operating conditions and any outstanding construction deficiencies are corrected. Fine tuning shall extend from date of Final Completion or Beneficial Use to one (1) year after occupancy.

  • Shift Rotation Routine shift rotation is not an approach to staffing endorsed by the Employer. Except for emergency situations where it may be necessary to provide safe patient care, shift rotation will not be utilized without mutual consent. If such an occasion should ever occur, volunteers will be sought first. If no one volunteers, the Employer will rotate shifts on an inverse seniority basis until the staff vacancies are filled.

  • Safety Footwear Allowance Effective 1/1/07, the Contra Costa Community College District will provide an initial two pairs of safety/protective work boots or shoes for employees in the following classifications: Building Maintenance Worker, Equipment Maintenance Worker, Senior Equipment Maintenance Worker, Maintenance Mechanic, Lead Maintenance Mechanic, Maintenance Assistant, Ground Worker / Gardener I, II, Senior or Lead, Shipping and Receiving Clerk, and all other mutually agreed upon classifications required to wear safety; protective shoes per OSHA/ASTM standards.

  • Prosthodontics We Cover prosthodontic services as follows: • Removable complete or partial dentures, for Members 15 years of age and above, including six (6) months follow-up care; • Additional services including insertion of identification slips, repairs, relines and rebases and treatment of cleft palate; and • Interim prosthesis for Members five (5) to 15 years of age. We do not Cover implants or implant related services. Fixed bridges are not Covered unless they are required: • For replacement of a single upper anterior (central/lateral incisor or cuspid) in a patient with an otherwise full complement of natural, functional and/or restored teeth; • For cleft palate stabilization; or • Due to the presence of any neurologic or physiologic condition that would preclude the placement of a removable prosthesis, as demonstrated by medical documentation.

  • Bilingual Differential When formally assigned in the employee’s position description, an employee assigned to interpret to or from another language to English will receive a differential of five percent (5%) of base pay.

  • Leadwork Differential (a) Leadwork differential shall be defined as a differential for employees who have been formally assigned by their supervisor in writing, “leadwork” duties for ten (10) consecutive calendar days (or the equivalent thereof for alternate or flexible schedules) or longer provided the leadwork or team leader duties are not included in the classification specification for the employee’s position. Leadwork is where, on a recurring daily basis, the employee has been directed to perform substantially all of the following functions: to orient new employees, if appropriate; assign and reassign tasks to accomplish prescribed work efficiently; give direction to workers concerning work procedures; transmit established standards of performance to workers; review work of employees for conformance to standards; and provide informal assessment of workers’ performance to the supervisor.

  • Safety Footwear 1. The State will provide employees in the classifications listed in Section 7 below, and employees who are currently required to wear safety footwear by Department Work Rules, an allowance of one hundred twenty dollars ($120.00) for replacement of safety footwear.

  • Extra Trips A. Extra trips will continue to be assigned by rotation to regular drivers. If no regular driver is available for extra trips, the substitute will then be contacted.

  • Wellness A. To support the statewide goal for a healthy and productive workforce, employees are encouraged to participate in a Well-Being Assessment survey. Employees will be granted work time and may use a state computer to complete the survey.
