Extended Leave of Absence. Subd. 1. Authority: Pursuant to MS 122A.46 and MS 354.094, the School Board may grant an extended leave of absence of at least three (3) years but no more than five (5) years. However, the granting of extended leaves of absence is purely within the discretion of the School Board and the School Board reserves the right to refuse to grant any and all extended leaves, if, in the judgment of the School Board, such leaves should not be granted.
