EVERIFY. Engineer is obligated to comply with the provisions of Section 448.095, Fla. Stat., "Employment Eligibility," as amended from time to time. This includes but is not limited to utilization of the E-Verify System to verify the work authorization status of all employees hired after January 1, 2021 and requiring all sub-contractors to provide an affidavit attesting that the subcontractor does not employ, contract with, or subcontract with, an unauthorized alien. The Engineer shall maintain a copy of such affidavit(s) for the duration of the contract. Failure to comply will lead to termination of this Contract, or if a subcontractor knowingly violates the statute, the subcontract must be terminated immediately. Any challenge to termination under this provision must be filed in the Circuit Court no later than 20 calendar days after the date of termination. If this contract is terminated for a violation of the statute by the Engineer, the Engineer may not be eligible for or awarded a City contract for a period of 1 year after the date of termination.

  • E-Verify The Contractor must use the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s E-Verify system to verify the employment eligibility of all new employees hired during the term of the Contract for the services specified in the Contract. The Contractor must also include a requirement in subcontracts that the subcontractor must utilize the E-Verify system to verify the employment eligibility of all new employees hired by the subcontractor during the Contract term. In order to implement this provision, the Contractor must provide a copy of its DHS Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to the Contract Manager within five (5) calendar days of Contract execution. If the Contractor is not enrolled in DHS E- Verify System, it will do so within five (5) calendar days of notice of Contract award and provide the Contract Manager a copy of its MOU within five (5) calendar days of Contract execution. Upon each Contractor or subcontractor new hire, the Contractor must provide a statement within five (5) calendar days to the Contract Manager identifying the new hire with its E-Verify case number.

  • The E-Verify Employer Agent agrees that any person accessing E-Verify on its behalf is trained on the most recent E-Verify policy and procedures.

  • Identity Verification In the case that the Subscriber provides telecommunication services to any Subscriber’s Customers pursuant to Section 8.1, the Subscriber is responsible for performing and shall perform personal identification of Subscriber’s Customer. SORACOM shall not bear any responsibility in relation to dealing with such matters.

  • Medical Verification The Town may require medical verification of an employee’s absence if the Town perceives the employee is abusing sick leave or has used an excessive amount of sick leave. The Town may require medical verification of an employee’s absence to verify that the employee is able to return to work with or without restrictions.

  • Risk Assessment An assessment of any risks inherent in the work requirements and actions to mitigate these risks.

  • The Web Services E-Verify Employer Agent agrees to, consistent with applicable laws, regulations, and policies, commit sufficient personnel and resources to meet the requirements of this MOU.
