  • EMPLOYEE DEVELOPMENT AND TRAINING 1. The State agrees to provide advice and counseling to employees with respect to career advancement opportunities and agency developments which have an impact on their careers.

  • EMPLOYEE WORK YEAR A. In-School Work Year

  • Contract Term Extension “Contract Term Extension” means an extension of the term of this contract, at the request of Purchaser, under this Subsection. This Subsection does not obligate Contracting Officer to grant Contract Term Extension. When such extension is made, Forest Service shall make an appraisal using standard Forest Service methods and appraisal data in effect 45 days prior to the original Termination Date. Bid Premium Rates shall be added to such appraised rates to establish Flat Rates or Tentative Rates for the extension period. In event rates so established would develop Current Contract Value immediately prior to such an extension that is less than Current Contract Value at that time, Flat Rates and Tentative Rates in effect immediately prior to extension shall be retained for the extension period. In consideration for granting an extension, Purchaser shall pay the Government for Purchaser’s failure to cut and remove timber meeting Utilization Standards prior to Contract Term Extension, an amount that shall be the total of the costs to the Government resulting from the delay in harvest of Included Timber. Such costs will be determined by Forest Service and shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

  • Term of Services The term of this Agreement shall begin on the Effective Date and shall end on , the date of completion specified in Exhibit A, and Consultant shall complete the work described in Exhibit A on or before that date, unless the term of the Agreement is otherwise terminated or extended, as provided for in Section 8. The time provided to Consultant to complete the services required by this Agreement shall not affect the City’s right to terminate the Agreement, as referenced in Section 8.

  • Project Employment 1. The Employer may appoint employees into project positions for which employment is contingent upon state, federal, local, grant, or other special funding of specific and of time-limited duration. The Employer will notify the employees, in writing, of the expected ending date of the project employment.

  • Employee Workload ‌ The Employer shall ensure that an employee’s workload is not unsafe as a result of employee absence(s). Employees may refer safety related workload concerns to the Occupational Health and Safety Committee for investigation under Article 22.3 (Occupational Health and Safety Committee).

  • Employee Development The Employer may provide employees the opportunity to participate in appropriate seminars, workshops or short courses. When possible and appropriate the Employer will provide to all staff information on seminars, workshops or short courses by posting a notice on the Employer’s internal web site.

  • USE OF EMPLOYER FACILITIES 12.01 Reasonable space on bulletin boards in convenient locations will be made available to the Alliance for the posting of official Alliance notices. The Alliance shall endeavour to avoid requests for posting of notices which the Employer, acting reasonably, could consider adverse to its interests or to the interests of any of its representatives. Posting of notices or other materials shall require the prior approval of the Employer, except notices related to the business affairs of the Alliance, including the names of Alliance representatives, and social and recreational events. Such approval shall not be unreasonably withheld.

  • Acceptance and Term of Employment The Company agrees to employ Executive and Executive agrees to serve the Company on the terms and conditions set forth herein. The Term of Employment hereunder shall commence on the Effective Date and shall continue until terminated as provided in Section 8 hereof.

  • Promotional Probationary Period An employee who has previously completed the requisite probationary period and who is rejected during a subsequent probationary period for a promotional appointment shall be reinstated to the former position from which the employee was appointed. If the employee was dismissed from employment during the promotional probationary period, the employee shall not be entitled to such reinstatement rights.
