Employees Who Normally Work on Public Holidays. (i) Except as otherwise provided in Clause 13.1(a) with respect to public holidays falling on a Saturday or a Sunday, if an employee whose duties normally require the employee to work on public holidays, is required to work on any public holiday named in Clause 13.1 which falls on any day from Monday to Friday inclusive, then the employee shall be paid the employee's regular pay for the holiday and in addition thereto shall be given compensating time off equivalent to one and one-half (1½X) times the number of hours worked on the holiday.
