DUTY TO PERFORM. Employees must perform their work duties during their work hours and do a competent job in performing those duties.
DUTY TO PERFORM. The Professional Services will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner in accordance with generally accepted industry standards (“Duty to Perform”).

In cases of emergency, as determined by the Sheriff, Xxxxxxxxxxxx, Jail Administrator, or UG Administrator, employees are required to work overtime as requested and are subject to discipline for any refusal to so work. Bargaining unit members may volunteer for additional overtime. There shall be no limits on voluntary or forced overtime.
DUTY TO PERFORM. The Union acknowledges and agrees that stewards and other employee committee members as prescribed in this Article have regular duties to perform in connection with their employment.

The Company and the City agree to take all reasonable and necessary actions to assure that the terms of this Agreement are performed and neither will take any action for the purpose of securing modification of this Agreement before either the Public Service Commission or any court of competent jurisdiction; provided, however, that neither Party shall be precluded from taking any action it deems necessary to resolve differences in interpretation of this Agreement.

Employees may request of the Director or his designee to be excused from this work under extenuating circumstances and such request may be granted at the Director’s or his designee’s discretion.
DUTY TO PERFORM. Pending final decision on any dispute under this article, Company and Subcontractor will proceed and continue with performance unabated. Until final resolution of any dispute hereunder, Subcontractor shall diligently proceed with the performance of this subcontract as directed by Company.
