Common use of Disciplinary Meetings Clause in Contracts

Whenever a Langara College supervisor meets with an employee who is a member of this CUPE Local 15 bargaining unit for the purpose of reprimanding or disciplining the employee, the employee has the right to have a witness or a Shop Xxxxxxx of the Union present. Where a meeting, without notice, becomes a disciplinary meeting, the employee will have the right to temporarily adjourn the meeting and to arrange for a witness or a Shop Xxxxxxx of the Union to be present.
