Definition of a Grievance A grievance is defined as a dispute or disagreement as to the interpretation or application of the specific terms and conditions of this Agreement.
Definition of Overtime All time worked in excess of forty (40) hours during any one (1) week shall be considered overtime. All overtime must be properly authorized by the Employer.

GENERAL DEFINITION OF PRODUCTS Item 1: Cafeteria Furniture • Mobile tables on rollers with or without benches or stools. • Round and rectangular cafeteria tables without benches or stools. Item 2: Dormitory Furniture • Metal, wood, or wood clad metal wardrobes, beds and mattresses, night stands, chest of drawers, and single pedestal dormitory student desks with keyboard or center drawers.
Definition of Affiliate For purposes of this Agreement, the term "Affiliate" shall mean any entity, individual, firm, or corporation, directly or indirectly, through one or more intermediaries, controlling, controlled by, or under common control with Employer.
Definition of Lay-Off A lay-off shall be defined as a lack of work, reduction in the work force or a reduction in the regular hours of work as defined in this Agreement.
Overtime Definition Overtime shall be defined as being all hours worked in excess of the normal or standard work day, or in excess of the normal or standard work week. The overtime rate shall be one and one-half (1½) times the regular straight time hourly rate of pay. NOTE: Article 16.04 is applicable to full-time employees only.
