Death in the Family. A. In the event of a death in the immediate family, time off with pay for up to three (3) work days, including the day of the funeral, will be granted to Employees who are in an active work status with the Company. The Company reserves the right to request verification of death. Unusual circumstances concerning other than immediate family members, or the amount of time needed, will be granted on a case-by-case basis. Such time may be taken on an unpaid basis, charged against vacation accruals or otherwise accounted for based on individual circumstances and manpower requirements.
