Dayworker. A person, not being a member of the crew, employed by or on behalf of the Assured to carry out casual work onboard the Yacht on a temporary basis.

Dayworker. At sea or in port, Licensed Engine Officer(s) not assigned to a watch, are assigned to work during eight (8) hours of duty between 0800 and 1700, Monday through Friday. Normally, the hours of work shall be 0800-1200 and 1300-1700. These times can be adjusted by the Chief Engineering Officer with the prior approval of the CO/Master between 0600 and 1800 as required to complete operational requirements.

  • Shiftworkers 35.1 Shiftworker for the purposes of this clause is defined as an Employee who performs Shiftwork and who starts or finishes a shift outside of the ordinary hours set out at clause 34.2 above.
