Common use of Cumulative Sick Leave Plan Clause in Contracts

Cumulative Sick Leave Plan. Each employee will accumulate sick leave at the rate of eight (8) hours per each full calendar month on a paid status. The Chief of Police or the Chief's designated representative shall grant sick leave with pay, not to exceed a Member's accumulated unused sick leave, to a Member incapacitated by injuries or sickness.
