CRIMINAL CONVICTION CHECKS. All criminal conviction checks must be concluded prior to the Contractor’s employees gaining access to the Virginia Tech Campus. Employees who have separated employment from Contractor shall undergo another background check prior to re-gaining access to the Virginia Tech campus. Contractor shall ensure subcontractors conduct similar background checks. Virginia Tech reserves the right to audit a contractor’s background check process at any time. All employees have a duty to self-disclose any criminal conviction(s) occurring while assigned to the Virginia Tech campus. Such disclosure shall be made to Contractor, which in turn shall notify the designated Virginia Tech contract administrator within 5 days. If at any time during the term of the contract Virginia Tech discovers an employee has a conviction which raises concerns about university buildings, property, systems, or security, the contractor shall remove that employee’s access to the Virginia Tech campus, unless Virginia Tech consents to such access in writing. Failure to comply with the terms of this provision may result in the termination of the contract.

Employees who have separated employment from Contractor shall undergo another background check prior to re-gaining access to providing services under this contract. If Contractor subcontracts any of the services provided under this contract, Contractor shall ensure subcontractors conduct similar background checks. Virginia Tech reserves the right to audit a contractor’s background check process at any time. All employees have a duty to self-disclose any criminal conviction(s) occurring while assigned to service this contract. Such disclosure shall be made to Contractor, which in turn shall notify the designated Virginia Tech contract administrator within 5 days. If at any time during the term of the contract Virginia Tech discovers an employee has a conviction which raises concerns about the health and safety of Virginia Tech family’s children, the contractor shall remove that employee, unless Virginia Tech consents to that employee continuing to provide services in writing. Failure to comply with the terms of this provision may result in the termination of the contract.

Contractor will provide attestation certifying that the background checks have been run on the employees who will be performing the work and that such persons have not been convicted of a violent or serious felony, but will not share its employees’ personal identifiable information .All employees have a duty to self-disclose any criminal conviction(s) occurring while assigned to the Virginia Tech campus. Such disclosure shall be made to Contractor, which in turn shall notify the designated Virginia Tech contract administrator within 5 days. If at any time during the term of this Participation Agreement Virginia Tech discovers an employee has a conviction which raises concerns about Virginia Tech buildings, property, systems, or security, the Contractor shall remove that employee’s access to the Virginia Tech campus, unless Virginia Tech consents to such access in writing. Failure to comply with the terms of this provision may result in the termination of this Participation Agreement.

  • Criminal Convictions Grantee certifies that neither it nor any officer, director, partner or other managerial agent of Grantee has been convicted of a felony under the Xxxxxxxx-Xxxxx Act of 2002, nor a Class 3 or Class 2 felony under Illinois Securities Law of 1953, or that at least five (5) years have passed since the date of the conviction. Grantee further certifies that it is not barred from receiving an Award under 30 ILCS 500/50-10.5, and acknowledges that Grantor shall declare the Agreement void if this certification is false (30 ILCS 500/50-10.5).

  • No Felony Criminal Convictions Contractor represents that neither Contractor nor any of its employees, agents, or representatives, including any subcontractors and employees, agents, or representative of such subcontractors, have been convicted of a felony criminal offense or that if such a conviction has occurred Contractor has fully advised System Agency in writing of the facts and circumstances surrounding the convictions.
