Common use of Court Duty Clause in Contracts

Court Duty. 18.01 Any employee who is required to serve on a jury, or who is subpoenaed by the Crown, shall be paid by the difference between the amounts paid for such service and his/her normal pay computed at his/her normal hourly rate for hours lost from work up to forty (40) hours in a week, subject to the following provisions:
