Continuing Contracts a. A continuing contract is a contract which shall remain in effect until the teacher resigns, elects to retire, or until it is terminated or suspended; and shall be granted only to teachers qualified, as described below, holding Professional, Permanent or Life Certificates or a Professional Educator License. The certificates must be in the field being taught. Holders of a Professional Educator License must also meet either of the following:
Contract Duration and Annual Salary 1. The College hereby employs the Administrator in the capacity of Director of Adult Educational Development, Assistant Professor for one year, commencing on July 1, 2023 and terminating on June 30, 2024. Continuing Contract 10.3.3.1 The second contract for a regular faculty member is the continuing contract for continuing employment. A continuing contract will not be offered to any faculty member who is not deemed to have a Master's degree or equivalent in accordance with the agreed criteria. Those faculty members having a continuing appointment as of August 1975 will not be affected by this clause.
CONTRACT PERIOD AND RENEWALS The Contract(s) shall be in effect for three (3) years, unless terminated in accordance with the contractual provisions.
