Consistent with s. 33 of the PS Act, an employee may have an action taken by the Review Committee in relation to a WLT Submission reviewed internally by the Industrial Registrar in the first instance and/or by the Merit Protection Commissioner. Consistent with s. 115 of the FW Act Staff will be entitled to the following public holidays:
a) New Year's Day (1 January)
b) Australia Day (26 January)
c) Good Friday
d) Easter Monday
e) Anzac Day (25 April)
f) The Queen's birthday holiday (on the day on which it is celebrated in a state or territory or a region of a state or territory)
g) Christmas Day (25 December)
h) Boxing Day (26 December)
i) Any other day, or part-day, declared or prescribed by or under a law of a State or Territory to be observed generally within the State or Territory, or a region of the state or territory, as a public holiday, other than a day or part-day, or a kind of day or part-day, that is excluded by the Fair Work regulations from counting as a public holiday.
Consistent with s. 137 of the Local Government Act 1989 (Vic), the Board will adopt and maintain a budgeting and reporting framework that is consistent with the principles of sound financial management.
