Conference and Preparation. “Conference and Preparation” is time provided for teachers to attend to non-instructional responsibilities such as lesson planning, student and parent conferences, preparing tests, maintaining records, correcting papers and tests, previewing instructional materials, and participating in meetings called by the District. This time is to be utilized within the building unless specific approval otherwise has been granted by the District.

  • Joint Preparation The preparation of this Agreement has been a joint effort of the parties and the resulting documents shall not, solely as a matter of judicial construction, be construed more severely against one of the parties than the other.

  • Conferences At the request of the State or the Engineer, conferences shall be provided at the Engineer's office, the office of the State, or at other locations designated by the State. These conferences shall also include evaluation of the Engineer's services and work when requested by the State.

Registered sex offender restrictions: For work to be performed at schools, awarded vendor agrees that no employee of a sub-contractor who has been adjudicated to be a registered sex offender will perform work at any time when students are, or reasonably expected to be, present. Awarded vendor agrees that a violation of this condition shall be considered a material breach and may result in the cancellation of the purchase order at the TIPS Member’s discretion. Awarded vendor must identify any additional costs associated with compliance of this term. If no costs are specified, compliance with this term will be provided at no additional charge. Safety measures: Awarded vendor shall take all reasonable precautions for the safety of employees on the worksite, and shall erect and properly maintain all necessary safeguards for protection of workers and the public. Awarded vendor shall post warning signs against all hazards created by the operation and work in progress. Proper precautions shall be taken pursuant to state law and standard practices to protect workers, general public and existing structures from injury or damage.

  • Surface Preparation Clean the surface to be treated of all dust, dirt, clay, grass, sod and any other deleterious matter before application of the asphalt surface treatment.

  • Telephone Monitoring You agree that Chase and its third-party service providers may listen to and record telephone calls as part of providing program services.

  • Conference Attendance Effective October 1, 1996, unit employees shall be entitled to up to four (4) days administrative leave of absence within any two consecutive fiscal years subject to the following conditions:

  • Professional Conferences Professional conferences are those conferences sponsored by educational organizations, institutions of higher learning, and government and industry concerning teaching, learning and educational research. Requests for attendance are submitted through the appropriate Xxxx, Director, or Supervisor, and forwarded to the President/Superintendent for approval at his/her sole discretion. A follow-up report of the conference shall be submitted to the appropriate Supervisor.

  • SPECIAL CONFERENCES For the discussion of important matters (not grievances) special conferences may be arranged at a mutually satisfactory time between the Association and the Employer representative(s) within ten (10) regularly scheduled working days after request of either party, subject to the following conditions:
