Compatibility with Law. It is agreed and understood by the parties hereto that this Agreement is subject to the provisions of any applicable existing laws, statutes and/or ordinances and any provision herein which is in conflict with any law of the State of Rhode Island or the Town of Tiverton shall be deemed void.

Compatibility with Law. This agreement shall be construed so as to be compatible with all Federal, State and Local Laws and the invalidity of any provisions of this Agreement by reason of any such existing law shall not affect the validity of the surviving provisions. If the enactment of legislation, or a determination by a Court of final jurisdiction (whether in a proceeding between the parties or controlling by reason of the facts) renders any portion of the Agreement invalid or unenforceable, such legislation or decision shall not affect the validity of the surviving portions of this agreement, which shall remain in full force and effect as if such invalid portion thereof had not been included therein. In the event that the current laws are so modified to permit greater security than presently permitted by law, the County and the Union will negotiate concerning possible amendments to this Agreement in accordance with such modified legislation.

Compatibility with Law. A. The Union and the District recognize that strike and all other forms of work stoppage by bargaining unit employees are contrary to law and public policy. The Union and the District subscribe to the principle that differences shall be mutually resolved by peaceful, professional, and appropriate means without interruption of the school program. The Union, each of its members, and all members of the bargaining unit therefore agree that there shall be no strike, work stoppage, or any other refusal to perform work by bargaining unit employees, nor shall the Union in any way encourage, instigate, or condone such action.

  • SERVICE MONITORING, ANALYSES AND ORACLE SOFTWARE 11.1 We continuously monitor the Services to facilitate Oracle’s operation of the Services; to help resolve Your service requests; to detect and address threats to the functionality, security, integrity, and availability of the Services as well as any content, data, or applications in the Services; and to detect and address illegal acts or violations of the Acceptable Use Policy. Oracle monitoring tools do not collect or store any of Your Content residing in the Services, except as needed for such purposes. Oracle does not monitor, and does not address issues with, non-Oracle software provided by You or any of Your Users that is stored in, or run on or through, the Services. Information collected by Oracle monitoring tools (excluding Your Content) may also be used to assist in managing Oracle’s product and service portfolio, to help Oracle address deficiencies in its product and service offerings, and for license management purposes.

  • System Upgrades The Connecting Transmission Owner shall procure, construct, install, and own the System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades described in Attachment 6 of this Agreement. To the extent that design work is necessary in addition to that already accomplished in the Class Year Interconnection Facilities Study for the Interconnection Customer, the Connecting Transmission Owner shall perform or cause to be performed such work. If all the Parties agree, the Interconnection Customer may construct System Upgrade Facilities and System Deliverability Upgrades.
