Community Leave. a. A teacher shall be granted leave with salary, one (1) day per school year, to participate in community service. Community service is defined as: teachers taking a leading part in a community service who need to attend important functions connected with that activity. A sports activity, where the teacher is a participant, is not considered a community service.
