Common use of Communicable Disease Protection Clause in Contracts

Communicable Disease Protection. Where an employee working in an environment where serious communicable diseases have been determined by the School Medical Health Officer to exist, the Board will pay expenses associated with preventive medication not covered by the employee's own medical insurance coverage. Where employees are exposed to any student who is a known Hepatitis B carrier or a regular biter/scratcher the Board will provide the appropriate preventive medication.
