Charitable. A Commitment to Community Service CBM is committed to giving back to the community and actively seek opportunities where our clients and employees live and work. When people work together great things happen. Our goal is to enrich and build a stronger community by creating educational and economic opportunities, particularly for people who are economically disadvantaged. We work with community partners who understand the needs of individuals, families and organizations and match our resources with those community needs. CBM contributes 10% of our pre-tax profits to dozens of non-profit organizations. These are just some of the recipients of our charitable giving: American Bank Foundation / Children’s Home Society & Family Services CornerHouse / Hope for the City / Lifetrack Resources / YMCA Lutheran Social Service / United Way / American Red Cross ATTACHMENT B INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS Contractor and its subcontractors shall maintain insurance acceptable to the City in full force and effect throughout the term of this Contract. It is agreed that any insurance maintained by the City shall apply in excess of, and not contribute toward, insurance provided by Contractor.   • Charitable Donations Employee donations to charity funds shall be on a strictly voluntary basis.

  • Charitable Contributions Make any charitable or similar contributions, except in amounts not to exceed five thousand dollars ($5,000) individually, and twenty thousand dollars ($20,000) in the aggregate.

  • Religious Activities The Subrecipient agrees that funds provided under this Agreement will not be utilized for inherently religious activities prohibited by 24 CFR 570.200(j), such as worship, religious instruction, or proselytization.

  • Donations It is recognized that the Employer may sponsor donations to worthy charitable organizations. However, no employee shall be required to make contributions nor shall any employee be told a specific amount he should contribute. There shall be no compulsion with regard to such contributions.

  • CHARITY The Employer shall not conduct or handle any campaign or drive for charitable purposes among the employees except where the cooperation and contributions of the employees are voluntary.

  • Qualified Charitable Distributions If you are age 70½ or older, you may take tax-free Xxxx XXX distributions of up to $100,000 per year and have these distributions paid directly to certain charitable organizations. Special tax rules may apply. For further detailed information and effective dates you may obtain IRS Publication 590-B, Distributions from Individual Retirement Arrangements (IRAs), from the IRS or refer to the IRS website at xxx.xxx.xxx.

  • Family Members Family Members shall mean, as applied to any individual, any parent, spouse, child, spouse of a child, brother or sister of the individual, and each trust created for the benefit of one or more of such Persons and each custodian of a property of one or more such Persons.

  • FAMILY MEMBERSHIP Credit Union members in good standing and whose status is currently within the Credit Union's common bond (as outlined therein) may sponsor immediate family members and possibly other members of Your household for Credit Union membership. Eligible family members may include for instance: father, mother, brother, sister, son, daughter, grandmother, grandfather and spouse (which may include anyone living in Your residence that You maintain a single economic unit with). Any Owner may provide Us written notice to freeze funds on deposit and We may, at Our option, honor such written request. If We do, then the Account will remain frozen until We receive subsequent written notice signed by all Owners of the Account as to a disposition of funds on deposit. Any funds on deposit may be utilized to satisfy any debt or garnishment of any Owner of the Account. It is the responsibility of joint account Owners to determine any legal effects of opening and maintaining a joint account.
