Change Order Cost Clause Samples

The Change Order Cost clause defines how costs associated with modifications to the original contract work are determined and managed. It typically outlines the process for pricing changes, such as additional work or alterations requested by either party, and may specify methods for calculating costs, including labor, materials, and overhead. This clause ensures that both parties have a clear and agreed-upon method for addressing the financial impact of changes, thereby preventing disputes and maintaining project budget control.
