Common use of Benefits and Entitlements Clause in Contracts

Benefits and Entitlements. V.4.4.1 The Board shall provide for a period of up to two (2) consecutive years to a member on unpaid leave pension, life insurance, medical, dental, and other usual benefits. For the first year of leave, the Board shall pay both its contributions and the member's contributions, as though the member were receiving non-leave salary as defined under V.2.7.3. For the second, and any future years of leave, the Board shall pay its contributions and the member shall pay their contributions, as though the member were receiving non-leave salary as defined under V.2.7.3. In the case of unpaid leaves which entail alternative employment, and such employment includes benefits, members shall assume the compensation and benefits of the alternate Employer.
