BEFORE YOU LEAVE. □ Return all furnishings to their original arrangement. (tables, chairs, pool table, air hockey table, foosball table etc.) □ Wipe down and put away all tables and chairs. □ Wipe down all sinks and countertops. □ Make sure the floors are free of spills and swept. □ Turn off lights. (excepted as marked) □ Close and lock windows. □ Remove all personal belongings. □ Take all trash to and place it in the dumpster that is located in the small parking lot. □ Set the alarm. □ Lock the doors. If the facility is not clean based on these terms and conditions a minimum fee, equal to 50% of the deposit amount, will be withheld from your deposit. BEFORE YOU LEAVE. Please put chairs, tables and any other equipment away after use. Stacks of chairs must never be left in the main porch as this constitutes a fire exit hazard. It is not practicable to pay a cleaner after every hall hiring so YOU are responsible for leaving the hall clean and tidy and swept after use otherwise, we may make an additional for cleaning. Brushes and other cleaning tools are in the porch cupboard and the vacuum cleaner is in the kitchen cupboard that also forms a hatch into the main hall. Any crockery or cutlery used should be washed, dried and put back into the cupboards. Please take away your rubbish as the hall is charged a fee for this. Any recycled waste can be taken to the recycling area at Orton primary school or in Tebay. Any food waste should also be removed. Don’t forget to check that all lights and kitchen appliances are turned off. Make sure any windows are closed and secure. If you unlocked the hall then please ensure that all doors, including the internal doors leading to the toilets, are locked and secure, and return the keys.

Wet mop all spills and tracks in kitchen and fellowship hall. If electric oven is used, clean any spills on the inside. Make sure all of your food is out of the refrigerator. If you have leftovers, please supply your own storage containers and take them with you. Please make sure that any debris left outside in the yard or parking lot has also been picked up and properly discarded. Empty all trash cans and place (bagged) in the green trash bin on the back stoop. If you use decorations, please remember: Not to use tape on painted surfaces. To remove all pieces of tape, streamers, balloons, and other decorations when function is concluded. Not to use tables or chairs as ladders (a stepladder is available in one of the storage closets). Not to use tape on the floor (even after removed, it’s sticky residue still causes a mess).
