Association Conference & Workshop Leave. 19 The Association may request up to a total of ten (10) days per regular school year to 20 attend Association Conferences and workshops or to conduct other Association 21 business which does not interfere with instruction or the duty of other personnel. The 22 Association will assume the cost of substitutes. Such requests shall be approved by 23 the Superintendent, except in the case of emergencies or other extenuating 24 circumstances. Such leave requests shall not be made during the 1st two weeks or the 25 last two weeks of school, or during parent teacher conferences days.
