Assistant Head Meat Cutter. ‌ In each store in which three (3) or more full-time meat cutters are employed, in addition to the Head Meat Cutter, an Assistant Head Meat Cutter shall be designated and shall receive an additional twenty-two dollars ($22.00) per week or one dollar and eighteen ($1.18) per hour for time during which he relieves the Head Meat Cutter, whichever is the greater. Commencing July 3, 1988, the twenty-two dollars ($22.00) shall become twenty-three dollars ($23.00), and one dollar and eighteen cents ($1.18) shall become one dollar and twenty-one cents ($1.21). In each store in which two (2) regular full-time meat cutters are employed, in addition to the Head Meat Cutter, and eighty (80) additional hours per week are worked in the bargaining unit, but excluding hours worked in the Delicatessen Department, an Assistant Head Meat Cutter shall be designated and shall receive an additional twenty-one dollars ($21.00) per week or one dollar and eighteen cents ($1.18) per hour for time during which he relieves the Head Meat Cutter, whichever is the greater. Commencing July 3, 1988, twenty-one dollars ($21.00) shall become twenty-two dollars ($22.00), and one dollar and eighteen cents ($1.18) shall become one dollar and twenty-one cents ($1.21). In the event that the designated Assistant Head Meat Cutter assumes the responsibility of the Head Meat Cutter for more than one (1) week or if the regular Assistant Head Meat Cutter is absent for any reason for more than one (1) week, a temporary Assistant Head Meat Cutter shall be designated.
