ARTICLE 5 - NO DISCRIMINATION. 5.01 The Employer and the Union agree that there shall be no discrimination, interference, restriction or coercion exercised or practised with respect to any Employee in the matter of hiring, wage rates, training, upgrading, promotion, transfer, lay-off, recall, discipline, discharge, or otherwise by reason of race, creed, colour, national origin, political or religious affiliation, sex or marital status, nor by reason of his/her membership or activity in the Union.

  • No Unlawful Discrimination In connection with the performance of work under this Agreement, Contractor agrees not to discriminate against any employee or applicant because of race, creed, color, national origin, disability, sex, sexual orientation or age. Any violation of these provisions by Contractor shall constitute a material breach of contract.
