The Employer may also offer fixed term contracts of employment for existing employees under the following circumstance:  For positions identified as short term projects (no longer than 18 months) that will lead to business improvement and/or employee development. Acceptance is through mutual agreement and the employee is guaranteed to return to their substantive role at the conclusion of that contract
