Appeal to the City Manager. A. The decision of the Division Manager or Department Director may be appealed to the City Manager within fifteen (15) days after the Division Manager’s or Department Director's decision is rendered. Upon receiving such an appeal, the City Manager shall proceed in the same manner as outlined in Appeal Procedures D.

Appeal to the City Manager. If the employee does not agree with the decision reached by the department head, the employee may present an appeal in writing to the City Manager within five (5) working days after the employee's receipt of the department head's decision. The appeal shall be signed and delivered to the City Clerk who shall set a meeting within ten (10) working days with the City Manager and the employee and/or the employee's representative to discuss the grievance. Within seven (7) working days the City Manager shall deliver a copy of the decision to the employee and/or the employee's representative and the department head. The decision of the City Manager shall be final, and shall not be appealable to the City Council.
Appeal to the City Manager. A regular employee may appeal a Department Director’s written notice of decision to discipline by delivering a written request for appeal to the City Manager. The written request for appeal must be received within ten (10) calendar days from the Department Director’s notice of decision to discipline.
Appeal to the City Manager. Upon receipt of an appeal, the City Manager or his/her representative shall discuss the grievance with the employee, the representative, if any, and other appropriate persons. The City Manager may designate a fact-finding committee, an individual not in the normal line of the employee's supervision or the City Attorney to render advice concerning the appeal. Within 15 regular working days, the City Manager shall render a formal decision, in writing, to the employee. Such decision shall be considered as final.
Appeal to the City Manager. A. If the grievance is not satisfactorily resolved by the Chief of Police, the employee may, in certain situations, submit the grievance to the City Manager. Grievances submitted to the City Manager must be submitted within twenty-one (21) calendar days after the employee has received the written response from the Chief of Police. Failure to submit the grievance to the City Manager in a timely manner will constitute withdrawal of the grievance.

  • Responsibilities of the City The City’s Contract Manager will be responsible for exercising general oversight of the Contractor’s activities in completing the Scope of Work. Specifically, the Contract Manager will represent the City’s interests in resolving day-to-day issues that may arise during the term of this Contract, shall participate regularly in conference calls or meetings for status reporting, shall promptly review any written reports submitted by the Contractor, and shall approve all invoices for payment, as appropriate. The City’s Contract Manager shall give the Contractor timely feedback on the acceptability of progress and task reports.
