Amity and the Union acknowledge their mutual intention that vacancies should be filled from within the bargaining unit wherever possible; therefore, all permanent vacancies in new classifications and in existing classifications within the bargaining unit shall be posted on the bulletin board for a period of five (5) working days and any employee within the bargaining unit may make application for such vacancy. Unless a job posting is cancelled for a bona fide reason, Amity will endeavour to fill most posted vacancies within 3 weeks from date of posting.
