Advanced Hiring Criteria for LVN or Technical Employees. A Licensed Vocational Nurse or Technical employee hired by the Medical Center under this Agreement shall start at Step 2 (the after-one-year wage rate) of the applicable progression schedules in Appendix “A” if she or he has had three (3) years or more previous experience within the last five (5) years in the same job classification at another accredited acute care hospital. Such an employee who has had six (6) years or more of previous experience within the last ten (10) years in the same job classification at another accredited acute care hospital shall start at Step 3 of the progression schedules in Appendix “A.”

  • Selection Criteria for Awarding Task Order The Government will award to the offeror whose proposal is deemed most advantageous to the Government based upon an integrated assessment using the evaluation criteria. The Government will evaluate proposals against established selection criteria specified in the task order RFP. Generally, the Government's award decision will be based on selection criteria which addresses past performance, technical acceptability, proposal risk and cost. Among other sources, evaluation of past performance may be based on past performance assessments provided by TO Program Managers on individual task orders performed throughout the life of the contract. The order of importance for the factors will be identified in the RFP for the specified task order.

  • Probation for Newly Hired Employees (a) The Employer may reject a probationary employee for just cause. A rejection during probation shall not be considered a dismissal for the purpose of Article 11.2

  • Medical Appointment for Pregnant Employees 35.9.1 Up to three decimal seven five (3.75) hours of reasonable time off with pay for each appointment will be granted to pregnant employees for the purpose of attending routine medical appointments.

  • Leave of Absence for College Committees An employee whose assigned work schedule would prevent her/him from attending meetings of a college committee to which s/he has been elected or appointed, will be granted a leave of absence from her/his regular duties without loss of pay or other entitlements to attend such meeting(s). Where such leave is granted, the employer will replace the employee as necessary. Costs arising from this provision will not be charged against the program area of the participating employee.

  • CULTURAL LEAVE FOR ABORIGINAL EMPLOYEES The Superintendent of Schools or their designate, may grant five (5) paid days per year leave with seven (7) days written notice from the employee to participate in Aboriginal Cultural event(s). Such leave shall not be unreasonably denied.

  • Compensation for Loss of Employee Tools The Employer will replace all employee tools lost or stolen while stored in a room, building, premises, job, workshop, Employer vehicle or in a lock, up to a value as specified in Appendix A. Where evidence is produced by the employee that they have suffered a greater loss, the Employer shall pay the additional amount.

  • Long Term Cost Evaluation Criterion 4. READ CAREFULLY and see in the RFP document under "Proposal Scoring and Evaluation". Points will be assigned to this criterion based on your answer to this Attribute.
