Common use of Advance of Credits Clause in Contracts

Advance of Credits. (a) At the employee’s request, when an employee has insufficient or no credits to cover the granting of sick leave with pay under the provisions of Article 16.02, advanced sick leave with pay may be granted to an employee to cover one or several periods of sick leave for a total overdraft of one hundred and seventy five (175) hours, subject to the deduction of such advanced sick leave from any sick leave credits subsequently earned.
