Adjustment of shift lengths. Current employees may have their shift 17 lengths adjusted based on operational need of the unit with thirty (30) days’ written 18 notice. Such shift length changes shall not cause involuntary FTE change. Employees 19 currently working shifts of eight (8) or more hours will not be involuntarily changed to 20 shifts of less than eight (8) hours per day. This provision does not apply to shift 21 curtailments under Section 7.12 or to involuntary reductions under Article 20.

  • ADJUSTMENT OF THE FRAMEWORK PRICES 4.1 The Framework Prices shall only be varied:

  • Market Adjustment The parties to this Agreement recognize the appropriateness of market pay adjustments in rare instances for compelling reasons. To effectuate judgments in such cases, the President and AAUP Chapter President, in consultation, shall each name three (3) individuals to a university Market Evaluation Committee. Deans may submit recommendations for market pay adjustments with supporting written reasons to the committee.   • Rate Adjustment (a) An employee who is set back to a lower paid job because of mechanization, technological change or automation will receive the rate of his regular job at the time of the setback for a period of three (3) months and for a further period of three (3) months he will be paid an adjusted rate which will be midway between the rate of his regular job at the time of the setback and the rate of his new regular job. At the end of this 6-month period the rate of his new regular job will apply. However, such employee will have the option of terminating his employment and accepting severance pay as outlined in Section 5 below, providing he exercises this option within the above-referred-to 6-month period.

  • Equitable Adjustment Trading volume amounts, price/volume amounts and similar figures in the Transaction Documents shall be equitably adjusted (but without duplication) to offset the effect of stock splits, similar events and as otherwise described in this Agreement and Warrants.
