Operational Need. A circumstance encompassing one (1) or more of the following reasons:
Operational Need. When the term operational need is used throughout this Agreement, it will be construed to mean, an event which would cause Management to avoid or seek to waive a contractual obligation for operational reasons. However, the event must be extraordinary, of short duration and related to the provision in question.
Operational Need. Approved annual leave requests for sixteen (16) hoursor more, once approved, will be canceled only for valid operational reasons which equire the employee not to take leave. Valid operational reasons include such matters as illness or death of another employee, directed details by authority outside the Service, special mission requirements which do not lend themselves to normal scheduling, and other events which create an actual necessity for personnel and not reasons which may make canceling leave merely desirable.

Describe in qualitative terms the effect that the technology will have on the current situation Describe in quantitative terms the effect that the technology will have on the current situation Describe the impact of the technology in terms of improved operational effectiveness (e.g., warfighting capability or mission accomplishment) or efficiency (e.g., total ownership cost). If applicable, cite any appropriate Gap Analysis (Gap Analysis and/or OAG specific item reference) or requirement reference(s) (UNS, etc.), and the priority of that item within the analysis or reference. Tell us how the technology contributes to filling the gap. Indicate the consequence, or an alternative action to be taken if the TIPS transition funding is not implemented (what is your 'Plan B' to get the solution transitioned).
