00 - MANAGEMENT RIGHTS. 7.01 Subject only to the terms of this Agreement, the Union recognizes the right of the Employer to the management of its plant and the direction of the working forces, including the right to hire and select workers, promote and/or transfer any employee or to discharge any employee for just cause, and further recognizes the right of the Employer to operate and manage its business in accordance with its commitments and responsibilities including methods, processes and means of production or handling.
