STANFORD NAMES AND MARKS. RIGEL agrees not to identify STANFORD in any promotional advertising or other promotional materials to be disseminated to the public or any portion thereof or to use the name of any STANFORD faculty member, employee, or student or any trademark, service xxxx, trade name, or symbol of STANFORD, STANFORD Health Services or UC-Stanford Health Care, or that is associated with any of them, without STANFORD's prior written consent.

STANFORD NAMES AND MARKS. Company will not use (i) Stanford’s name or other trademarks, (ii) the name or trademarks of any organization related to Stanford, or (iii) the name of any Stanford faculty member, employee, student or volunteer without the prior written consent of the University. Permission may be withheld at Stanford’s sole discretion. This prohibition includes, but is not limited to, use in press releases, advertising, marketing materials, other promotional materials, presentations, case studies, reports, websites, application or software interfaces, and other electronic media.
STANFORD NAMES AND MARKS. Graphite will not use (i) Stanford’s or the VA’s name or other trademarks, (ii) the name or trademarks of any organization related to Stanford or the VA, or (iii) the name of any Stanford faculty member, employee, student or volunteer or any VA employee. This prohibition includes, but is not limited to, use in press releases, advertising, marketing materials, other promotional materials, presentations, case studies, reports, websites, application or software interfaces, and other electronic media. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Graphite may include Stanford’s name in factual statements in legal proceedings, patent applications, regulatory filings and, as applicable, in biographies of its officers, directors, employees and advisors. In addition, Graphite may make a short factual statement that identifies Stanford as the grantor of the rights granted under this Agreement to actual or potential investors or acquirers, as well as in the “About Graphite” or other similar section of the Graphite website.
STANFORD NAMES AND MARKS. Forty Seven will not use (i) Stanford’s or HHMI’s name or other trademarks, (ii) the name or trademarks of any organization related to Stanford or HHMI, or (iii) the name of any Stanford or HHMI faculty member, employee, student, or volunteer, without the prior written consent of the party (Stanford or HHMI, as the case may be) whose name or trademark is being used. Permission may be withheld at Stanford’s or HHMI’s sole discretion. This prohibition includes, but is not limited to, use in press releases, advertising, marketing materials, other promotional materials, presentations, case studies, reports, websites, application or software interfaces, and other electronic media. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Forty Seven may, without prior permission of Stanford, reasonably utilize Stanford’s name in statements of fact (provided such statements do not imply endorsement of Forty Seven’s products), in legal proceedings, patent filings, and regulatory filings, and/or any such individual’s name upon his or her prior written consent.

In addition, Xx. Xxxxxxxx Xxxxx may be identified as a Stanford faculty member as part of biographical statements.

Notwithstanding the above, LICENSEE may use in any manner it deems fit the name(s) of STANFORD faculty members or employees who are inventors on the Inventions, Licensed Patents and/or Licensed Products, and who are employees of or have a consulting agreement with LICENSEE (“Affiliates”), provided that LICENSEE obtains the voluntary consent of the Affiliates for such *** Confidential treatment granted use. STANFORD agrees that the names of the Affiliates and Affiliates’ connection with STANFORD will appear in disclosure documents required by securities laws, and in other regulatory and administrative filings in the ordinary course of LICENSEE’S business. Any use of STANFORD’s name shall be limited to statements of fact and shall not imply endorsement of LICENSEE’s products or services.
