Veterinary assistant definition

Veterinary assistant means an assistant employed by a licensed veterinarian for a purpose other than performing diagnosis, issuing prescriptions or performing surgery and includes, among other assistants, registered veterinary technicians.
Veterinary assistant means an individual who is not a veterinary technician but was employed by a veterinarian to work under the supervision of the veterinarian for at least two years as set out in A.R.S. § 32-2242(B)(2).
