Unforced Capacity definition

Unforced Capacity shall have the meaning specified in the Reliability Assurance Agreement.
Unforced Capacity. (or “UCAP”) means the electric capacity required to be provided by LSEs to serve electric load as defined by the NYISO Tariffs, rules, manuals and procedures.
Unforced Capacity as set forth in the PJM Agreements, or any successor, measurement of the capacity obligation of a Load Serving Entity as may be employed in PJM (whether set forth in the PJM Agreements or elsewhere). Charge – Any fee, charge or other amount that is billable by the Company to the DS Supplier under this Agreement. Commercial Class – Group of Rate Schedules that comprise the Commercial Class for DS Supply and itemized in Appendix C. Company – PECO Energy Company. Costs – With respect to the Non-Defaulting Party, brokerage fees, commissions and other similar transaction costs and expenses reasonably incurred by such Party either in terminating any arrangement pursuant to which it has hedged its obligations or entering into new arrangements which replace Transaction(s) under this Agreement; and all reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses incurred by the Non-Defaulting Party in connection with the termination of this Agreement. Customer – Any person or entity who enters a contractual agreement with the Company to receive retail electric service including, without limitation, all persons or entities taking service under a retail tariff, eligible to receive competitive electricity supply from an EGS or DS, respectively, in accordance with the Applicable Legal Authorities. Damages – Financial compensation from the Defaulting Party to the Non-Defaulting Party associated with the occurrence of an Event of Default or an Early Termination of this Agreement. This compensation shall be assessed pursuant to Article 5 of this Agreement. Defaulting Party – A Party to this Agreement that has caused or precipitated an Event of Default or an Early Termination of this Agreement.

Examples of Unforced Capacity in a sentence

  • This paragraph shall not apply to a Large Facility’s obligation to obtain CRIS in order to quality as an Installed Capacity Supplier or obtain Unforced Capacity Delivery Rights under the ISO Services Tariff.

  • The NonPerformance Charges for each Seasonal Capacity Performance Resource for a Delivery Year shall not exceed a Non- Performance Charge Limit equal to 1.5 times the Net Cost of New Entry times the megawatts of Unforced Capacity committed by such resource times the number of days in the season applicable to such resource.

  • Control of Unforced Capacity shall be rebuttably presumed from (i) ownership of an Installed Capacity Supplier, or (ii) status as the Responsible Market Party for an Installed Capacity Supplier, but may also be determined on the basis of other evidence.

  • Buyer shall accomplish receipt of Resource Adequacy Capacity by (i) ensuring that the Plant’s capacity data is appropriately represented in MISO’s Module E capacity tracking system, or any successor system (“MECT”), and converting the Unforced Capacity value determined from such data to ZRCs or MW/day, and (ii) acknowledging receipt of the Capacity in Module E.


More Definitions of Unforced Capacity

Unforced Capacity means installed capacity rated at summer conditions that is not on average experiencing a forced outage or forced derating, calculated for each Capacity Resource on the 12-month period from October to September without regard to the ownership of or the contractual rights to the capacity of the unit.
