UK Pricing Authority definition

UK Pricing Authority means any supra-national, national or regional government department, authority, agency or entity (including a non-departmental public body or similar entity) with responsibility for evaluating the cost effectiveness of medicinal products in the United Kingdom (or one or more constituent countries thereof) or otherwise determining whether the NHS (or constituent parts thereof) should purchase medicinal products.

  • Pricing Approval means any approval, agreement, determination, or decision establishing prices that can be charged to consumers for a pharmaceutical or biological product or that will be reimbursed by Governmental Authorities for a pharmaceutical or biological product, in each case, in a country where Governmental Authorities approve or determine pricing for pharmaceutical or biological products for reimbursement or otherwise.

  • Funding Authority means the body awarding the grant for the Project.

  • Balancing Authority means the responsible entity that integrates resource plans ahead of time, maintains load-interchange-generation balance within a Balancing Authority Area, and supports Interconnection frequency in real time.

  • UK Listing Authority means the Financial Services Authority in its capacity as competent authority under the Financial Services and Markets Xxx 0000.

  • Issuing authority means the authorized representative of the department of the City who issued the solicitation.

  • Customs authority means the authority that is responsible under the law of a Party for the administration and enforcement of customs laws and regulations; Customs duty includes any duty or charge of any kind imposed in connection with the importation of goods, but does not include any:

  • Certifying Authority means a person who has been granted a licence to issue a Digital Signature Certificate under section 24;

  • Relevant Tax Authority means HMRC, or, if applicable, the tax authority in the jurisdiction in which the Supplier is established;

  • Signing Authority means an officer or agent of the organization with written authorization to commit the legal entity to a binding agreement.

  • Requesting Authority means the Authority making a request under this MoU.

  • Marketing Authorization Application or “MAA” means an application for Regulatory Approval in a country, territory or possession.
