Assessing Authority definition

Assessing Authority means the assessing authority constituted under this Act;
Assessing Authority means any of the authorities referred to in section 10 who is directed under sub-section (2) of that section to exercise or perform all or any of the powers and functions conferred on an Assessing Authority under this Act;
Assessing Authority means any person not below the rank of Superintendent of Taxes authorised by the Government, or by any authority empowered by the Government to make any assessment under this Act.
