Trial Body definition

Trial Body means the Student Senate class that has the least amount of time on the filing date of an impeachment resolution. The Supreme Court Chief Justice shall preside, unless a member of the judiciary is impeached, whereupon the Senate President Pro-Tempore shall preside. In such a circumstance, the Pro-Tempore may not be a part of the Impeachment Body. The presiding officer shall have no vote.

Examples of Trial Body in a sentence

  • The Impeachment Trial in the Trial Body must begin no sooner than five school days, but no later than ten school days from the adoption of the Articles of Impeachment.

  • If an Article of Impeachment is adopted by the Trial Body, the person shall be deemed convicted of impeachment and removed from office.

  • A two- thirds vote of the membership of the Trial Body shall be necessary to affect future disqualification.

  • Regulatory Proceeding means a request for information, civil investigative demand, or civil proceeding commenced by service of a complaint or similar proceeding brought by or on behalf of the Federal Trade Commission, Federal Communications Commission, or any federal, state, local or foreign governmental entity in such entity’s regulatory or official capacity in connection with such proceeding.

  • Trial court means the court or agency from which an appeal or judicial review is taken.

  • Relevant Governmental Body means the Federal Reserve Board and/or the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, or a committee officially endorsed or convened by the Federal Reserve Board and/or the Federal Reserve Bank of New York or any successor thereto.
