Travelport GDS definition

Travelport GDS means the system of computer hardware and software operated by or for any Galileo Group Company (as updated from time to time during the Term of this Agreement), including the GalileoÒ and Apollo® CRSs and, upon the Worldspan Closing, the Worldspan® CRS, which processes data to provide airline, hotel, rental car and other travel-related reservations, including airline ticketing services.
Travelport GDS means the computer hardware and software (as updated from time to time during the Term) operated by or for any Travelport Group Company as a GDS, including the Galileo® GDS, the Apollo® GDS, and the Worldspan® GDS. Except to the extent the context otherwise requires, a reference in this Agreement to the Travelport GDS will be a reference to the Galileo, Apollo, and Worldspan GDSs collectively, while a reference in this Agreement to a Travelport GDS will be a reference to any of the Galileo GDS, the Apollo GDS, or the Worldspan GDS individually.
Travelport GDS means the global distribution systems operated by affiliates of Travelport Hotelzon that perform flight, hotel, rental car, cruise, and rail reservations and ticket issuance functions. For purposes of this Agreement, Travelport GDS may include services of Galileo, Apollo, Worldspan and any other distribution system or authorized agent thereof with whom Travelport Hotelzon’s affiliates have an agreement to distribute.

Examples of Travelport GDS in a sentence

  • Each Orbitz Domestic Agency shall use a Travelport GDS exclusively to make all of its air and car segments.

  • If an Orbitz Domestic Agency elects to use a GDS for hotel segments, it shall use a Travelport GDS exclusively, subject to the exceptions specified in Section 5.C below.

  • The Parties acknowledge and agree that this Section 2.I is not intended to materially modify the manner in which Subscriber connects to and receives the Travelport GDS Services as of the Contract Effective Date.

  • For any countries in Europe where Subscriber does not operate or have a website as of the Contract Effective Date, to the extent that Subscriber commences operations or establishes a website in such a country (a “New European Country”) during the Term, Subscriber will cause 100% of the segments made in such New European Country to be made through a Travelport GDS, unless Subscriber can reasonably demonstrate a material commercial harm or potential material commercial harm that it cannot do so.

  • We are not subject to these minimum volume thresholds to the extent that we process all eligible segments through the Travelport GDS.

  • For purposes of this Section 2.B, “ Availability Data” means airlines’ availability data delivered in response to any direct, real-time, “seamless” queries for availability information on airlines against airlines’ inventory/reservation systems; standard airline availability status messages (AVS); numeric AVS messages (NAVS); or airline availability information in the form of Travelport GDS responses to availability requests from customers of the Travelport GDSs other than Subscriber (AVL).

  • Subscriber agrees that if, during the term of this Agreement, Subscriber acquires another entity or another online travel website, Subscriber will use commercially reasonable efforts to migrate all of the acquired company’s or acquired online travel website’s segments to a Travelport GDS consistent with Section 5.B hereof, subject to the acquired entity’s or acquired online travel website’s existing exclusivity or minimum segment obligations.

  • The Travelport GDS Service Agreement also requires that ebookers use the Travelport GDSs exclusively in certain countries for segments processed through GDSs in Europe.

  • The Travelport GDS service agreement is structured such that we earn incentive revenue for each segment that is processed through Galileo or Worldspan.

  • The previous sentence is not intended to modify any Transaction Fees otherwise applicable to the non-Direct Connect Vendor by reason of such non-Direct Connect Vendor’s accessing a Travelport GDS.

  • GDS means Global Distribution System (e.g., Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre and Worldspan). "IAMAW" means the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers.

  • Sprint PCS means any or all of the following Related Parties who are License holders or signatories to the Management Agreement: Sprint Spectrum L.P., a Delaware limited partnership, WirelessCo, L.P., a Delaware limited partnership, SprintCom, Inc., a Kansas corporation, PhillieCo Partners I, L.P., a Delaware limited partnership, PhillieCo, L.P., a Delaware limited partnership, Sprint Telephony PCS, L.P., a Delaware limited partnership, Sprint PCS License, L.L.C., a Delaware limited liability company, American PCS Communications, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, and APC PCS, LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. Any reference in the Management Agreement or Services Agreement to Xxx Communications PCS, L.P., a Delaware limited partnership, or Xxx PCS License, L.L.C., a Delaware limited liability company, is changed to Sprint Telephony PCS, L.P., a Delaware limited partnership, or Sprint PCS License, L.L.C., a Delaware limited liability company, respectively, to reflect name changes filed with the Delaware Secretary of State in 2002.

  • Sprint means a set period of time during which specific work is realized and made ready for review.

  • Open Wireless Network means any network or segment of a network that is not designated by the State of New Hampshire’s Department of Information Technology or delegate as a protected network (designed, tested, and approved, by means of the State, to transmit) will be considered an open network and not adequately secure for the transmission of unencrypted PI, PFI, PHI or confidential DHHS data.

  • Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN means a switched network service that provides end-to-end digital connectivity for the simultaneous transmission of voice and data. Basic Rate Interface-ISDN (BRI-ISDN) provides for a digital transmission of two (2) 64 Kbps bearer channels and one (1) 16 Kbps data channel (2B+D).

  • Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) means a switched network service that provides end-to-end digital connectivity for the simultaneous transmission of voice and data. Basic Rate Interface-ISDN (BRI-ISDN) provides for a digital transmission of two 64 Kbps bearer channels and one 16 Kbps data channel (2B+D).

  • Universal Digital Loop Carrier (UDLC means the DLC system that has a CO terminal channel bank that is connected to the CO switches on the analog side.

  • Verizon means Verizon Communications Inc., a Delaware corporation.

  • Digital network means any online-enabled application, software, website or system offered or utilized by a transportation network company that enables the prearrangement of rides with transportation network company drivers.

  • Prepaid wireless telecommunications service means a commercial mobile radio service that allows a caller to dial 9-1-1 to access the 9-1-1 system and is paid for in advance and sold in predetermined units or dollars of which the number declines with use in a known amount.

  • Local Interconnection Trunks/Trunk Groups means the trunks that are used for the termination of Local Exchange Traffic, pursuant to iconectiv Technical Reference GR 317-CORE.

  • Wireless support structure means a freestanding structure designed to support or capable of supporting small cell wireless facilities. Wireless support structure does not include a utility pole.

  • Telecommunications service provider means that term as defined in Section 219a of the Michigan Penal Code, supra, as may be amended from time to time. As of January 2012, "Telecommunications Service Provider" is defined to mean any of the following:

  • DHCS PI means Personal Information, as defined below, accessed in a database 20 maintained by the COUNTY or DHCS, received by CONTRACTOR from the COUNTY or DHCS or 21 acquired or created by CONTRACTOR in connection with performing the functions, activities and 22 services specified in the Agreement on behalf of the COUNTY.

  • Synchronous Optical Network (SONET means the optical interface standard that allows inter-networking of transmission products from multiple vendors. The base rate is 51.84 Mbps (“OC 1/STS 1”) and higher rates are direct multiples of the base rate, up to 13.22 Gbps.

  • Mobile Network means a 3G or 4G network or any other mobile communications network which we choose to provide Mobile services.

  • Comcast means Comcast Corporation, a Pennsylvania corporation.

  • Combined sewer system means a system for conveying both sanitary sewage and storm water runoff.

  • BT Network means BT’s public electronic communications network;

  • Network means the participating providers described in the Provider Directory.

  • Wireless service provider means a person that provides wireless service to the public.

  • Local Interconnection Trunks/Trunk Groups means the trunks that are used for the termination of Local Exchange Traffic, pursuant to iconectiv Technical Reference GR 317-CORE.

  • Network Service Provider means PacifiCorp Transmission, as a provider of network service to PacifiCorp under the Tariff.

  • Customer Group means, collectively, Customer, its parents and Affiliates, its Agents, and its and their respective managing members, general and limited partners, officers, directors, employees, and other representatives.

  • Core Network means the transport infrastructure identified in accordance with Chapter III of Regulation (EU) No 1315/2013;
