Definition of Temporary Termination


Temporary Termination means a Termination after which the employee is subsequently rehired and in Service within one year of the Severance From Service Date.

Examples of Temporary Termination in a sentence

Credited Service means all completed years and days of Service (expressed in whole and fractional years) for the Employer commencing on the date the Employee became an Employee and ending on the date the Employee Terminates, excluding Periods of Service forfeited due to a Period of Severance, excluding Periods of Service which are not considered for vesting purposes, and, including periods not in Service due to Temporary Termination.
A Temporary Termination occurs if a Participant is rehired and actively employed within one year after a Severance From Service Date.
A Participants Period of Service shall include periods not in service due to a Temporary Termination.
