Standing Referral definition

Standing Referral means a referral by the covered person's primary care provider to a specialist or specialized treatment center participating in the carrier's network for ongoing treatment of a covered person.

More Definitions of Standing Referral

Standing Referral means a Referral to a Participation Specialist for more than one visit without the Member’s Primary Care Physician having to provide a specific referral for each visit.
