Safeguards Policies means the Operational Policies (OPs) and Bank Procedures (BPs) of the Association, namely OP/BP 4.01 (Environmental Assessment), OP/BP 4.04 (Natural Habitats), OP/BP 4.09 (Pest Management), OP/BP 4.10 (Indigenous Peoples), OP/BP 4.11 (Physical Cultural Resources), OP/BP 4.12 (Involuntary Resettlement), OP/BP 4.36 (Forests), and OP/BP 4.37 (Safety of Dams) as published at xxxxx://xxxxxxxx.xxxxxxxxx.xxx and as the same may be updated by the Association from time to time.
Safeguards Policies means Policies designed specifically to ensure that the environmental (and social) impacts of projects supported by the Association are considered during appraisal and preparation. The Association’s safeguard policies cover environmental assessment, natural habitats, pest management, indigenous peoples, cultural resources, involuntary resettlement, forests, dam safety, international waterways and disputed areas.
