Radiation Oncology Services definition

Radiation Oncology Services means all radiation oncology services, of a routine and emergency nature, presently or hereafter provided by the Practice or the Professional Staff and the performance of all services ancillary thereto.

  • Xxxxxxx Xxxxxxxx, Xxxxx Xxxxxxxxx, Xxxxxxx Xxxxxxxx, Xxxxxxx Xxxxxxx and Xxxxxx Xxxx who shall provide Radiation Oncology Services at the Cancer Centers and will be present at the Cancer Centers at all times when patients are being treated at such Cancer Centers.

  • The Company hereby grants the Practice the exclusive right in conjunction with the Company, during the term of this Agreement, to use, subject to the terms and conditions of the Cancer Center leases (the “Leases”), for the provision of Radiation Oncology Services.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, no Party shall execute a managed care contract pertaining to Radiation Oncology Services to be provided at the Cancer Centers without the other Party’s prior written consent (which consent shall not be unreasonably withheld).

  • The joint governing board (the “Joint Governing Board”) shall be responsible for developing and implementing management and administrative policies for the overall operation of the Practice and the Cancer Centers that enhance the Practice’s ability to serve the health care market more efficiently, improve the quality of the Radiation Oncology Services and support the delivery of new and existing products as desired in the marketplace.

  • The Practice and the Physicians will also comply with, and participate in, all peer review programs of the Company its Affiliates, and any entity with whom the Company (or any Affiliate of the Company) and the Practice contracts with respect to the provision of Radiation Oncology Services at the Cancer Centers, including, but not limited to, Third-Party Payors.

  • The Practice is a part of an integrated group medical practice that provides Radiation Oncology Services (as defined herein) and other medical services in the State of Florida.

  • The Practice shall use and occupy the Cancer Centers (a) in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Lease, (b) exclusively for the provision of Radiation Oncology Services and ancillary services, such as imaging, laboratory, cyclotron, and support services, and (c) in compliance with all applicable Laws and standards of medical care.

  • Pharmacy services means the practice of pharmacy as defined in chapter 18.64 RCW and includes any drugs or devices as defined in chapter 18.64 RCW.

  • Radiation means alpha particles, beta particles, gamma rays, X-rays, neutrons, high-speed electrons, high-speed protons, and other particles capable of producing ions. For purposes of these rules, ionizing radiation is an equivalent term. Radiation, as used in these rules, does not include nonionizing radiation, such as radiowaves or microwaves, visible, infrared, or ultraviolet light.

  • BPO Services means Provider’s business process outsourcing services described in the applicable Solution Exhibit, whereby Provider assumes responsibility for Customers’ business processes.

  • Radiation therapist means a person, other than a Licensed Practitioner or Nuclear Medicine Technologist, who applies radiation to humans for therapeutic purposes under the supervision of a Licensed Practitioner;

  • Home health aide services means the personal care and maintenance activities provided to individuals for the purpose of promoting normal standards of health and hygiene.

  • Cemetery services means cremations, grave openings and closings, and installation of grave memorials.

  • Information technology services means services designed to do any of the following:

  • Radiation machine means any device capable of producing radiation except those devices with radioactive material as the only source of radiation.

  • Homemaker services means the professionally directed or supervised simple household maintenance or management services provided by trained homemakers or individuals to families in their own homes.

  • Company Services means any services (including but not limited to technical and product support, technical advice, underwriting and customer services) supplied by the Company or its Affiliates in the specialty property and/or casualty insurance business.

  • water services means water supply services and sanitation services;

  • Hospice services means palliative and supportive care and other services provided by an interdisciplinary team under the direction of an identifiable hospice administration to terminally ill hospice patients and their families to meet the physical, nutritional, emotional, social, spiritual, and special needs experienced during the final stages of illness, dying, and bereavement, as defined in Minnesota Statutes, § 144A.75, subd. 8, and includes the set of services as determined by the Medicare program under §1861(dd) of the Social Security Act and defined in 42 CFR § 418.3.

  • Moving beam radiation therapy means radiation therapy with any planned displacement of radiation field or patient relative to each other, or with any planned change of absorbed dose distribution. It includes arc, skip, conformal, intensity modulation and rotational therapy.

  • Pharmacist services means products, goods, and services, or any combination of products, goods, and services, provided as a part of the practice of pharmacy.

  • Radiation therapy simulation system means a radiographic or fluoroscopic x-ray system intended for localizing the volume to be exposed during radiation therapy and confirming the position and size of the therapeutic irradiation field.

  • Therapy means the administration of drugs or chemicals to remove toxic concentrations of metals from the body.

  • External beam radiation therapy means therapeutic irradiation in which the source of radiation is at a distance from the body.

  • Radiation safety officer means an individual who has the knowledge and responsibility to apply appropriate radiation protection regulations and has been assigned such responsibility by the licensee or registrant.

  • Telehealth services means the mode of delivering health care services and public health via information and communication technologies to facilitate the diagnosis, consultation, treatment, education, care management, and self-management of a patient's health care while the patient is at the originating site and the provider for telehealth is at a distant site. Telehealth facilitates patient self-management and caregiver support for patients and includes synchronous interactions and asynchronous store and forward transfers.

  • Outpatient services means those services rendered in a practitioner’s office or in the department of an approved facility where services are rendered to persons who have not had an overnight stay and are not charged for room and board.

  • Consultancy Services means the Consultancy Services described in Schedule A;

  • Cloud Services means SAP’s then-current cloud services offered under and described in detail in the applicable SAP PartnerEdge Model.

  • Drug therapy management means the review of a drug therapy regimen of a patient by one or more pharmacists for the purpose of evaluating and rendering advice to one or more practitioners regarding adjustment of the regimen.

  • Nursing services means the provision of individual-specific advice, plans, or interventions by a nurse at a home based on the nursing process as outlined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing. Nursing services differ from administrative nursing services.
