Qualified dependent care flexible spending account definition

Qualified dependent care flexible spending account means the account established by the Plan Administrator on behalf of a participant who elects to have amounts withheld from his salary in order to pay qualified dependent care flexible spending expenses.

  • Medical flexible spending arrangement means a benefit plan

  • Medicare eligible expenses means expenses of the kinds covered by Medicare Parts A and B, to the extent recognized as reasonable and medically necessary by Medicare.

  • Required Aggregation Group means: (i) each qualified plan of the Employer in which at least one Key Employee participates at any time during the Determination Period; and (ii) any other qualified plan of the Employer which enables a plan described in clause (i) to meet the requirements of Code Section 401(a)(4) or of Code Section 410.

  • Cafeteria plan means a written plan under which all participants are employees, and the participants may choose among two or more benefits consisting of cash and qualified benefits.

  • Individual retirement account means a trust, custodial arrangement, or annuity under Section 408(a) or (b), Internal Revenue Code of 1954 (26 U.S.C. Section 408 (1986)).

  • Dependent child means a child residing in an individual’s household who may legally be claimed as a dependent on the federal income tax of such individual.

  • Company 401(k) Plan has the meaning set forth in Section 6.4(e).

  • Medicare Advantage plan means a plan of coverage for health benefits under Medicare Part C as defined in 42 U.S.C. 1395w-28(b)(1), and includes:

  • Medical benefit plan means a plan established and maintained by a carrier, a voluntary employees' beneficiary association described in section 501(c)(9) of the internal revenue code of 1986, 26 USC 501, or by 1 or more public employers, that provides for the payment of medical benefits, including, but not limited to, hospital and physician services, prescription drugs, and related benefits, for public employees or elected public officials. Medical benefit plan does not include benefits provided to individuals retired from a public employer or a public employer's contributions to a fund used for the sole purpose of funding health care benefits that are available to a public employee or an elected public official only upon retirement or separation from service.

  • Parent 401(k) Plan has the meaning set forth in Section 6.6(e).

  • Retiree Health Plan means an "employee welfare benefit plan" within the meaning of Section 3(1) of ERISA that provides benefits to individuals after termination of their employment, other than as required by Section 601 of ERISA.

  • Retiree means any person who has begun accruing a retirement

  • Retirement Account means any retirement or pension fund or account, listed in Iowa Code section 627.6(8)“f” as exempt from execution, regardless of the amount of contribution, the interest generated, or the total amount in the fund or account.

  • Covered Dependent means any dependent of a Subscriber’s family, who meets and continues to meet all applicable eligibility requirements, and who is enrolled and actually covered under this Contract other than as a Subscriber.

  • Health Plans means any and all individual and family health and hospitalization insurance and/or self-insurance plans, medical reimbursement plans, prescription drug plans, dental plans and other health and/or wellness plans.

  • Basic Plan means as to any Member or Vested Former Member the defined benefit pension plan of the Company or an Affiliated Employer intended to meet the requirements of Code Section 401(a) pursuant to which retirement benefits are payable to such Member or Vested Former Member or to the Surviving Spouse or designated beneficiary of a deceased Member or Vested Former Member.

  • Nonminor dependent means any individual age eighteen to twenty-one years who is participating in extended foster care services authorized under RCW 74.13.031.
